    Oh, man. When I was young and really dumb—20, I guess?—my then-girlfriend and I drove from Nebraska out to San Francisco for the first Tibetan Freedom Concert. We left my car, with its North Dakota plates, parked in a garage at Fisherman’s Wharf, with all our bags clearly visible through the windows, including, basically, my entire CD collection. Needless to say, when we returned a few hours later, I didn’t have a CD collection anymore.

    On a brighter note, “Thief of My Heart” is one of my favorite songs. I used to put this and the title track and “Billy Boola” from In the Name of the Father on repeat and listen ad nauseum. (Probably that CD was one of the ones that got stolen, too.)
